Are these 160 or 100 Watt bulbs I have never heard of 160W but thought I would check?
where are they - in your living room??

Aaah!
Ooh I would guess main (160w) and dipped (100w) but I have read a thread on here about super power bulbs maybe melting the headlights?
Ahh
So how do they change between full beam and dipped?
I know plenty of people who have 100 W bulbs in the headlights but 160 that is BIG! my spots are 130W
with the full beam switch in the car! (bulbs have 2 filiaments, one for full and one with a shield for dipped)
Maybe i mis-understood what you meant!
Don’t expect them to last very long . . . . they tend to have a very short lifespan (he even mentions it in the ebay ad!)
Plus all the probs with wiring and light units melting!
NOT worth buying IMHO
at 160w 12v, these will pull nearly 13amps EACH! ![]()
i had 130 main beams but the actual bulbs melted so had bulge on underside!
apart from all that I am sure there is a legal limit to the power of forward - facing bulbs you can use - 55w?
The 130W bulbs in my spots didnt last long, I wont be buying 160W for my head lighs, I was thinking of seting 4 smaller spots below the other 2 on my Abar, so will go with that.
The above was part of a conversation take from our sister site at www.nissan-navara.net The full thread is on that site
