53 plate outlaw…key opens door,,, ignition lights on dash works,,,but the glow-plug light stays on and won’t go out, which is not the norm ?,,, engine turns but won’t fire up,,,
I think it may be the imobilizer,,? any ideas ?
I’ve just experienced an imobilizer problem on my 53 plate outlaw.
Fob works fine, it opens and locks the doors,, ignition lights come on but i’ve noticed the glow-plug light won’t go off, which is new, as it went off before.?…engine turns but won’t fire up.?
just bought navara kingcab for farm use.want to put off road tyres implace of standard 255/65/17’s but can only find general at2 in 265/70/17.will they fit or any other ideas!
We have an 03 navara d22, 100,000 km and i wouldn’t sell it in a fit. We have done all oth e north west of oz in it, Gibb River Road, Kalumburu, Charnley river Station, Darwin, Kakadu, Litchfield. All towing a camper. Best car I have ever owned. Goes better now than it did when I bought it. Also have a freetyle mazda 03 td2.5 ute. Bucket of crap. We call it the rowboat compared to the D22. You have to really work thru the gears to get anywhere. And it blew 4 glow plugs at 100k. Give me a nissan anyday. In oz, these motors only ever go bang in the patrol, and only in the early models before they modified the oil gallery.
Anyone else have any problems with gearstick gattors bursting after just a few months. My Navara is just coming up to 3yrs next month and has just had its 5th one fitted. Average life 9 months and that includes the time it takes to get it fixed. (Normally between 4 and 8 weeks).
Can anyone let me know their fuel consumption for a 2008 D40 turbo diesel, I am only getting 420 kilometers to 70 ltr, and thats country driving, no traffic lights, 80kmh.
