Has anyone got any tips or pics of hideing wires.
For example you put a sat nav on the dash but cant stand the wires dangling all over the place. Especially if youve got a snooper as well.
Any ideas?
Take off the center console (cup holders/gear surround/radio surround), remove the wires at the back of the ciggy lighter (or accessory socket, this is permanant live, ciggy is switched live), use piggy back spade connections so you dont have to cut wires and run in a new supply.
Route wires to pop out between panel gaps when you put the bits of the dash back in.
my laser detector sits next to the sun sensor on top of the dash - the wire is fed into the vent next to it, and into the space behind the nav screen. as already mentioned, it all comes off very easily, and theres loads of space in there.
I put my snooper on top of my rear view mirror and powered it from the courtesy light just above it. A very neat job if I say so myself!!

How did you take the centre console off?
It doesn’t seem apparent to me, and I don’t want to break anything.

Hi there,
How did you remove the centre console? I’ve had a quick look, and it doesn’t seem obvious to me!
I want to fit an after-market reversing camera, and would like to tidy away the various connections.
